His Excellency Dong-il Oh, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea, paid a courtesy call to the Minister of Digital Transformation, Senator the Honourable Hassel Bacchus, on Friday July 22, 2022.
Several areas for cooperation, engagement and knowledge-sharing between the two countries were explored at Friday’s meeting, including: Korea’s ability to provide assistance to SMEs and microenterprises for online business, Korea’s 5G Strategy, their expansion of digital-based online education and vocational training infrastructure, development of technologies such as cloud and IoT, and Korea’s multi-pronged framework for using Big Data.
